The name of this experience was inspired by Louisville hometown hero Muhammad Ali's famous catch phrase and Trina Paulus's butterfly-themed Hope for the Flowers.
This fun and refreshing experience can give spirits a lift, free up energy and soften polarization, while deepening mindfulness and self-awareness.
Float Like a Butterfly is a left-brain/right-brain, Both/And experience, and some participants have reported stellar sports performances after doing our movements and credited them to feeling exceptionally "loose." So, you could do a float like a butterfly warm up that is relaxing and yin - joyful and peaceful for its own sake - OR, you could use the movements to cycle into yang mode to get fired up and help you sting like a bee on the court, mat or playing field!
Float Like a Butterfly can be adapted for all ages, and participants report feeling both grounded and "floaty," relaxed and energized. And there's time in the experience for spontaneity and FUN!
